Henchman Story

Henchman Story is pretty short, though that might be more indicative of my previous experiences with the genre. While it was a breath of fresh air to actually play a shorter Visual Novel for once, I got so invested in the characters that I just wish the story went on for a few more chapters.

The game tells the story of Stan, an average guy who ends up earning himself a job as a lowly henchman to the eccentric Lord Bedlam. The comic book-style tale takes you on a journey through Stan's eyes, where you'll see "the more humble realities" of keeping supervillain activities running smoothly, with a voiced cast of characters played by the likes of Anairis Quiñones (Attack on Titan/RE:Zero), Anthony Sardinha (A Hat In Time), and Elissa Park (Marvel Avengers Academy).

Anyway, now that I have played more, I think it is hilarious. He is basically this way too enthusiastic cornball who manages the henchman operations for Lord Bedlam in the way somebody might manage a corporate franchise. Nothing wrong with that actually.
